Hedgehope Hill and the Cheviot...

...from the top of Humbleton Hill.

Morning Job, an earlier-than-usual shift at Job No. 2, then back to the flat in time for tea - a large helping of MrM's chickpea curry.

After which MrM and I walked to the top of Humbleton Hill from Wooler Common. On the way back, just before dusk, a barn owl flew right in front of us with its prey - looked like a mouse or vole - in its talons. Fabulous sight.

Down to the Black Bull to finish off the evening.
