A Free Range Hoglet Barbeque

The Hedgehog or 'Hotchewitchi' I hear is a Romany favourite cooked on the fire after being packed in clay, but the only pork-based fare on offer at our garden BBQ tonight were some nice free range spare ribs bought from Booths, and marinaded in a nice smokey sauce of Mrs Bs making.

As I was lighting the charcoal, I had spotted this little fella rummaging about the lawn. I think (hope) it is living in our rather unkempt ('wildlife' I maintain) garden and won't wander off to the main road nearby. About 6 months ago I tripped over an adult hedgehog on the path whilst taking the bins out one night, so hopefully this is one of it's new brood of baby 'hoglets'.
