The Big Cruise Day 50: West Coast Main Line

Canals and railways often follow similar routes and so are frequent companions. This line in particular has been of some interest as it is a section of the West Coast Main Line and they have been rebuilding it for years, including many new bridges, etc. It's still going on in places.

I'm not particularly interested in main line railways (more steam and narrow guage - see elsewhere). But this seemed to be a fairly impressive picture near our (sunny, warm and blue sky) mooring on the Coventry Canal near Hopwas.

The picture is a bit constrained by the width of the blip but you'll get the idea.

[Explanation: Big Cruise Blips begin on 9th April (where there's an introduction) and last nearly 8 weeks with a break in the middle. I am catching up with the back-blipping]
