Two heads

At the Scottish Portrait Gallery to pick up a John Byrne print and while I waited for it to be wrapped I took a quick tour round the Head to Head exhibition on show in the contemporary gallery. Some interesting stuff in there.

The extra photograph is Matchead  by David Mach, made of burnt matches and glue in 1986 and briefly set alight for about two minutes in a "celebratory performance".

I won't be setting my print alight under any circumstances
