Parrot Sketch Not Included

And now for something completely different ......... a pretty parrot posing on the Port Liner. This morning we had an original experience, riding on a train with parrots, meerkats, sloths and mascots (this is Japan, of course.) The Port Liner train had been hired by Kobe Animal Kingdom and people like us, who had bought the special ticket, got to ride the train with these animals. At the station, we were greeted by goats, alpaca and dogs before walking to Kobe Animal Kingdom. The whole time we were followed by a T.V. camera crew and we made it onto Kobe Shimbun Next  and the N.H.K. News (although we never saw it but my sister-in-law phoned to say she had seen us.)
