I was concentrating on (sadly) the sole cygnet of the brood that were originally at the lake when this happened!

Thank you all so much for your amazing response to Wednesday's shot and title of 'freedom'.  Up until a short while ago it has been on the front page of popular at slot 2 but now on slot 3 :)

Having a lazy weekend at home.  Much as I like to get out and about, I need to be very careful with money from now on, petrol is expensive without a job to pay the bills...

Hoping to go to the Coast with a friend and her daughter on Tuesday, but we'll see nearer the time if that will  happen :)
