My brother in law and Giang brought us a rice cooker, three kilos of Vietnamese rice, Vietnamese coffee and coffee makers all the way from Ho Chi Minh City. The rice cooker is going to be a great favourite. It gently steams a whole meal - rice, vegetables, fish..... When I was told last year that they would bring one over for us this year, I was expecting a traditional bamboo basket, not a huge electrical kitchen gadget.
