Ali is the Syrian boy escaped from war lives in my neighborhood. BALAT. Next to him, Laura is a Spanish teacher living in Istanbul. Olivia is the dog Ali wanted to play. Balat always was a shelter for the people who run away from destruction. After conquest of Istanbul for jewish, Greeks later for poor Turkish and Kurdish. Lonely women, gay men now Syrians.
