Dog rose

The first dog roses are appearing in the garden. This one is in the bog garden.

Today was a training/admin day for us at work - once a month the trainees can come in and do their own thing or else have the day off. It helps us to catch up on where things are at for them as well as other issues and of course doing paperwork. Sometimes we think things would run more smoothly if the trainees were never there at all - but I'm sure we would soon get bored...
