Let's play hide and stag

Along with many, many other people I decided to spend the afternoon in Richmond Park - actually away from the car parks and a few other favoured spots it was still easy to find yourself alone in the peace and quiet.

I had intended to go on another bug-quest with the macro lens and indeed another dragonfly (a ruddy darter - I think) has made it into the extra shot slot. However I couldn't resist blipping this red deer stag which was part of a group of four that came wandering towards me and then all but disappeared into the lush bracken that they began feasting on. All in all a far nicer experience than encountering a human stag party on a Saturday afternoon!
