The Mountain Biker

Another frost....brrr. A sunny day has followed and was ideal for a Mountain Biking event at the Taylor Dam. There were mountain bikes everywhere, on top of the dam itself and around the lake environs. One of the organizers told me there were well over 40 participants of all ages taking part. I certainly had all from older experts to youngsters and family groups whizzing past as I walked around the lake. Luckily, over the years we have taught Fergus the dog to ignore bicycles in any shape or form. But he was happy to be patted and fussed over by some of the folk at the event.
