This afternoon visited Port Isaac - where Doc Martin is filmed - didn't see him - but wondered how the production company got their equipment into the village and filmed on the quaint steep narrow streets

Spent the morning in Padstow - known locally as PadStein - it being put on the culinary map by celebrity chef Rick Stein - who amongst other busineses there has a cookery school - two restaurants - a fish and chip takeaway - a deli - patisserie - and a gift shop - other outlets were available - and the harbour is still being used to land fish - and has kept its quaintness
