Retreat

More walking along the Coastal Path - this time to view the Valley of Rocks - which had some spectacular tors - then on to Lee Abbey - a religious retreat - before entering a woodland area - from where we saw the hill we had to climb to get back to the start - the long climb started gently at first - before becoming so steep that it zigzagged instead of going straight uphill

Retreated to the nearest tea room when we got to the top - where we had to admit the effort of th climb was worth the spectacular views
