Do you mind!

Busy day today. After breakfast we went into the village to set up our stall for the Scarecrow Festival. We we manning the local Sustainability group stall discussing food waste. Given that every person we spoke to said they wasted nothing, and we know that the national average is £60 per family per month, either most people are not telling the truth or some people waste an awful lot more than £60...

Today's blip is a quick snap of Pierre the peacock who was cleaning himself on top of our garage after we unloaded our stuff after the Festival. I managed to get quite close to him before he noticed me, so he didn't have time to get up, just give me his usual surprised/stern stare!

After dinner and another two episodes of Cordon, we went to the Church graveyard to count glowworms for the biodiversity society. Not huge numbers tonight, but enough and we didn't get wet - it was threatening rain...
