Silver horses....

A morning of lying in bed, looking at pictures of kittens, puppies, leopards, and, more specifically, baby animals covered in mud (I'll save you time - it's generally elephants) - as requested by the two four year olds, followed by breakfast, picnic making, and then into the car and over to Falkirk for the day.  As we arrived, the heavens opened, so we made the decision to stay in the car and eat out picnic.  By the time we'd finished/dropped food all over the back seat, the skies had cleared a bit, and we headed out.

A good couple of hours hanging round them, eating ice cream, spotting ducklings and cygnets and watching local schoolboys swimming and fooling about in the canal between the Kelpies (Is it not really dangerous?!).  A visit to the Helix to burn off the rest of their energy seemed to work, as it took FOREVER to walk back to the Kelpies and the car park (when did you have to start paying to park there?).

I do love the Kelpies.
