Taming The Frankenshrub - Day One

The Viburnum aka the Frankenshrub has been slowly but surely encroaching on the verandah, poking through the railing and generally making everything dark, gloomy and buggy.

Today we started pruning it. Pruned side to the left, unpruned to the right. The shrubs are deceptively large. This represents three hours of work for each of us!
