The bugs are crazy....

It really is a bit frustrating at this time of year....the pond is beautiful, the wild flowers are in abundance and as soon as i get down there to walk around the pond, take some photographs, soak up a bit of sun....the god damn blackflies descend!!!  they really are brutal!

We have a new wwoofer, Mizuki from Japan...she is a delight, and has been braving the bugs in the garden for a few days now as she tries to tame the weeds!

At least i had a nice quiet day, the Closed sign at the bottom of the hill kept would be customers away for the day....it's sometimes a hard choice but i get so cranky if i don't have at least one day where i know i don't have to talk to someone!!!
