Coast Range From Cannon Beach

We went to the Oregon coast today to celebrate our oldest granddaughter's birthday in Nehalem.  Along the way we stopped in Seaside to drop off my art work at a Gallery there, and then decided to check out "Haystack Rock" at Cannon Beach.  We owned a home 15 mile  south of there for 20 years, but really never spent much time there as we were always in a hurry to get to our beach house.  We had to sort of chuckle over that one...as everyone goes to Cannon Beach and we've lived in Oregon all our lives, but this felt like a first time encounter, ha!  Of course I had my eyes on the ROCK, when Bob said, "You should turn around, the light is so pretty on the coast range"!  Well, I guess he's turning into quite the photographer himself!!!  Don't you think? ''

And I've added a photo of Hazel, our granddaughter, who turned 14 today!  Happy Birthday sweetie:)))
