Around Dingleburn Bluff

Today the 14 members of the walking group headed to Lake Hawea.  We parked our cars at the DOC car park, and walked from there around the Dingleburn Bluffs, and had our lunch overlooking Lake Hawea.  If you have good eyesight you can see some of the walkers way down the track ahead of me.  You wouldn't want to meet a car or truck coming in the opposite direction.  It was interesting seeing the Kowhai trees in flower, with a couple of Bellbirds enjoying their quiet environment.  Back to Wanaka for a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading to our nice cosy fires at home.  Not sure of the temperature, but would have been about +2C.  Super day walking in the sunshine.
