Ullapool

We set out at about eleven this morning and had a fairly clear run. We got into Ullapool at around quarter past three. It turned out when we got there it was the annual regatta so there was loads going on down at the Harbour. The Lochinver Lifeboat was in for the regatta so I got a look round that and a chat toe the Coxswain. It’s a big Severn class boat which is a wee bit different from the Atlantic 85 we have in Queensferry.

Unfortunately I didn’t get any good shots of it so settled for this one of one of the rowing boats. After staying there and grabbing a bite to eat when the chippy opened we headed on to Durness and got here for about half past five. Dav and Crag weren’t too far behind us so we settled in for a bite to eat and lots of drinking.
