Let's go on an adventure

We thought we would go for a walk and our friends Adam and Terry thought the same. Plan A was to go up Loughrigg but the weather came in and being a fair weather hiker thought nah.
So we had a drive through Hawkshead and thought we'd get the ferry across to Bowness. The weather faired up and we had a lovely walk from Claife to Red Bank. I'd never walked down there and was very nice.
I like going on the Windermere ferry which we did back to Bowness. Lunch and wine at the Boathouse restaurant in the marina before heading home. Plan B's are the way to go!
