Sad dog

Jess has been behaving erratically in the last few days.  Her enthusiasm for walks has not waned but eating and greeting is hit and miss.

We thought things were back to normal on Sunday, but this afternoon she has uncharacteristically taken to lying at the foot of the stairs in the hall.

My anthropomorphic interpretation is that she is missing her pack, there has been much upheaval and no routine in the family in the last weeks and after the busy weekend today no Martin, Ben or Sam. Uncomfortable grass seeds and burrs have also been a problem.

We may be back to the vet tomorrow.

In better news I discovered that LooseCanon has written a simple blip backup piece of software.  I'm very grateful, since there still seems to be no news at all from HQ as to what on earth is happening to the site.
