Flying High

I went to ‘work’ today for the first time for a few weeks, still waiting for Amazon to lift the block on our account.

As I was browsing through the books in an idle minute I noticed this Haynes workshop manual. Normally used for different makes of cars I was a little surprised to see a book on Concorde; I wouldn’t think many were in private owners’ hands.

Skimming through the book I noticed this photograph.  Taken in Farnborough in the early 1970s it was at the air show that I had attended.  I remember seeing Concorde 002 strut its stuff and took some photos.  This is not one of them, unfortunately in the course of time and moving, the slides have become misplaced.  I’m pretty sure I would have taken a similar pic!
