A Glimpse of Victoria Bridge

We were in Penrith - a town at the bottom of the Blue Mountains on the way to Sydney. I decided to take a stroll along the Nepean River and pass under the grand old Victoria Bridge which must now be well over a hundred years old. Until relatively recently it carried the main thrust of traffic west from Sydneytoward the mountains and beyond to the western part of the state. The main western railway line STILL crosses the river here.
