Gorgeous Elk

While at Yellowstone, we saw quite a lot of wildlife. Of all the elk we saw, this big guy had the largest, most spectacular rack. He was really close to the road and when he looked up like this I stepped behind a little wooden fence, a little worried that he would come get us. I love the beautiful meadow he was grazing in as well. 

We also saw two sets of Grizzly Bears this day. I have added a couple extra photos of the mama and two cubs that we saw. The heap of grass in front of them was a roadkill Bison that the mama bear had drug off the road and covered with grass to feed her family. The cubs stood up, all alert in these pictures because a loud motorhome just passed and it startled them. They look up and then both run to their mom. It was amazing to watch them. 

Bonus- if you look closely, the back cub in the second extra photo is holding a flower. So cute!
