Silver-spotted Skipper

A newly developing TinyTuesday trend - stopping at the bottom of the driveway to get the mail, and taking a moment to snap a photo with the iPhone. Usually after thinking on the way home from the grocery run "Drat! I meant to take a photo of something interesting for Tiny Tuesday while I was in town..." So I once again find myself pulling into the driveway without having done anything about a photo - and there is that Buddleia with butterflies all over it! Hey presto! Blip!

The Silver-spotted Skipper is the only one of the Skipper butterflies that I can easily identify. Most of them are far less obviously marked!
