Lala's Journal

Honeysuckle

Ironic that one of the things that drew us to this house in the first place is one of the first things to have to go.

A Tree Surgeon visited this evening for us to ask his advice and as we thought ( closer inspections had taken place over the weekends) they need to come down. Leylandii that have been previously 'hacked at' are now dead on the inside with Ivy also creeping up the trunks. It's a shame because we liked the seclusion they gave us and we will have to decide on a fence or hedging.

The photo is of the Honeysuckle growing over the fence at the side of the bungalow. It reminds me of my grandparents cottage in Cheshire which had Honeysuckle growing along a wire fence I much the same way.
