Catalina Lake

Here's a little Katoomba landmark which is almost forgotten these day. For many many years this public reserve featured a world war two vintage Catalina which floated adjacent to a jetty. For a variety of reasons, including general decay, new safety regulations and maintenance expenses, the old plane is gone now but the water still looks fetchingly blue on fine days.
