The dangers of wire brushing beams

DS#2 has been working comme un Trojan to get his place in a habitable state for the visitation of ten of his mates including Charlotte B. Cleaning the beams has been his first task and that is, as I found out, a nasty dirty job in which you always end up taking off chunks of your hands. You can see the various missing bits of DS#2's fingers in this image.
That said, the rooms look so much better for it so the skin was not lost in vain.
