Mangroves

On a roster day off today ;-)
Spend a few hours exploring the neighbourhood of Beachmere, just before the area of Bribie Island.
Came across this mangrove pit/swamp and blipped today's image.
This swamp must be home to thousands of birdlife as various species of bird calls could be heard. Wish I could spot them in the distant bushes and identify them.
