She's A Lady

I was hoping that one of my favourite Peacock butterflies would be visiting the garden by now but this Painted Lady was a lovely surprise :) 

I also think I'm hosting every breed of bee known to man this week...fat ones, thin ones, fluffy ones, silky ones, short ones, long ones, yellow ones, orange ones...there's a whole lot of buzzing going on!

Trying to curb Stella's fascination with our stripy friends isn't easy however.

What with the wildlife distractions outside and the Amazon Prime Day bargains inside, only half of my to-do list has got ticked off! 

Mightily pleased at feeling well enough to do all 3 anyway :)
