Sulphur Skyline

Today we've hiked the Sulphur Skyline trail, a four hour walk up a 750 metre climb to a height of 2000 metres. The view was spectacular from the top but the climb was hard and the height was a but tricky for me. Everyone did really well and had a real sense of achievement at the end.

At the base of the walk were the Miette Hot Springs which are outdoor pools fed from underground spring water at a temperature of 40 degrees. So nice to soak away our aches and pains - see extra photo (Mr M and the boys can be seen in the pool). The other extra is of some kind of large deer we saw on the way.

Tomorrow we leave Jasper and have a 7 hour drive to Kelowna, to stay in a house on the Oakanagan Lake. I think we're all looking forward to having a rest in the car! The next stage of our holiday will be a bit more relaxing.
