Scale Force

We walked from Buttermere via Sour Milk Ghyll , along the very wet path to Crummock and then over the  soft  marsh moss to Scale Force.
It wasn't a brilliant day when we set off but it got hotter and sunnier as the day went on. The amount of wild flowers we saw was amazing and we saw little frogs in various stages of growth.
A great walk and the scone and coffee at Croft House Farm tea room was very welcome when we got back to Buttermere.
