Queenies

Definitely voted the best meal of the week- Manx Queenies ( Scallops) which were absolutely delicious.
We spent the morning at The Horses' Rest near Douglas- where the tram horses are retired. From there we drove to Ballasalla,where we had this gorgeous lunch, then on to Castletown to find where friends used to live before they moved back to the Mainland. Finished the day with a Manx ice-cream and home.
Although the weather hasn't been brilliant we haven't yet got wet and it's been ideal for getting around.
