Hummer in the Wild

I went back to the McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area for a little more exploration. The morning was unseasonably cool, with low humidity so I wanted to take advantage of that.  Besides discovering 3 more fields of sunflowers, I came across blue and green herons, Red-Wing Blackbirds, an Indigo Bunting, and oodles of dragonflies and butterflies. Some of the birds were at quite a distance and my mobility was limited my marshland, so my shots weren’t that good even with the long lens.  I have only ever seen Hummingbirds at or around feeders, so when I saw this one sitting on a branch next to a pond, I was quite delighted.
