Dun Carloway

Another beautiful, calm start to the day and photo opportunities on our way to visit some history (it's proving hard to decide which pics to keep).
First stop was Dun Carloway and as we came out of the small museum the mist had come down, though soon almost cleared giving great views.
Next to find a shop for some lunch (not many in this part of Lewis) and then to Dailmore beach for the start of a walk.
Unfortunately the sea haar had come down but we still had a good walk to the blackhouse village of Garanin and it's museum before the return walk along the cliffs. Flowers, birds, last beds, old mills and bogs.
Inland a very short distance the sun was shining and the next stop was the stones of Callanish (and the 2 other circles nearby) where they were well displayed by the late afternoon sun.
Another fine sunset.
