Today was Apples big keynote announcement where they make a big song and dance about all their newest stuff. (Apparently there was a football match on too?) Was out at a meeting most of the night, so caught up when I got home. Turned out to be quite long.

They have brought out a super fancy and super expensive Macbook Pro with an insanely high resolution screen. I established that if you want the absolute top-of-the-range new model it will only set you back £3048.98. And that's before all the accessories. Bargain.

There was some other stuff - a new Max OS X, fancy new maps in iOS and other little bits. Interestingly you will now be able to upload photos from your iPad right into Safari which means we presumably won't need to use the blipfoto iPhone app any more for uploading.

I should probably take this opportunity to point out that my journal title is a reference to a famous Steve Jobs quote.

But it probably applies to me in ways he did not intend.
