Snow time!

Word is that this has been our heaviest snowfall since 1984 and it has been very beautiful!  

Easily 20 cms and deeper in patches, even the bush had a good coverage where the foliage doesn't encourage snow to settle.

Got up early (at least early for me) and had a fine time wandering around the gardens of houses nearby.  And then with Bob, a quick trip up to the town where a very festive air prevailed, with no traffic on the highway and snowmen at our busiest intersection.

We missed out on a predicted fall just a few days ago, but were more than compensated today.  It was all very delightful.
