Catch-up day

Along the canal there are some sweet little cottages who have maximised on the available water to brighten their gardens.

Although there are workers constantly dredging and repairing the waterway I don't think I'd like to fall into that water...nor eat any fish that are caught along there!

An old friend from my teenage years came to meet me and we walked along the canal to have lunch. Good to catch up!

In the evening my 'bruncle' (technically my uncle but we were brought up in the same house together more as brother and sister) came to collect me for a family evening with another 'bruncle' and my parents in North Wales.

Home to an enthusiastic welcome from Paw around 1am!
