out came the sunshine

I’m going to leave a gap for a while where yesterday’s blip will go. it was a long day out at the Great Yorkshire Show and there are a lot of photos I still haven’t looked closely at. 

It was wet this morning but brightened up later so I drove to Beningbrough Hall about 10 miles from where J+J live. The flower borders were very colourful and I spent ages chasing bees and butterflies around them. The breeze made it more difficult but I ended up with a few in focus shots. 

I think this is a Comma butterfly on (I think) a white Buddleia. Identification books are at home so I’ve relied on the internet.
