Reynishverfi

I would like to thank all for the stars and comment on my glacier experience. Today we saw another piece of South Iceland which was again fabulous. We went to Dyrholaey, saw many puffins, walked on the black sand beach with the view of the trolls and visited the caves.

The legend says: the Reynisdrangar needles are the remains of 2 night-trolls, who tried to pull a three-masted ship to land and were caught by the dawn and when daylight broke they turned into stone.
