Allium?

I planted bulbs around a tree, but did not keep a record of exactly what.  Now we have some purple heads on long stalks - I wonder if they are going to be rather spectacular alliums?

I'm very tired this evening.  I tried to take pictures of swifts earlier - on the way home from work - nothing worth keeping, let alone blipping - they're all deleted!  Now ready for bed, W asked if I had a picture.  

I went for a wander around the garden, took a few pictures, and I like this the best.  I don't often find a flash helps the picture, but in this case I like the result.
