River of Flowers

Hectic Thursday

Made jam this morning using frozen wild blackberries, fresh red currants and red gooseberries from the garden. Did some washing which dried well in the howling gale. Rained early evening.

Spent afternoon sorting through pile of papers, lots of them went into the recycling.

Today's blip is of a mysterious mauve flower, looks like a harebell but it has a very stiff stem and spear like leaves. Tomatoes are coming on well in the greenhouse. A couple of the runner beans have flowers but the wind is wild again today. Purple potato flowers - I'll have to have a wee look to see if any are ready for eating!
