Where has summer gone?

I picked a walk at random from the internet today and was rewarded with this view after walking for some time through a wooded area. The tree growth was such that we missed the turning after the second house, we did see one. I said let's keep going and we rejoined the correct path a bit later. It was quite chilly along the sea front when we reached the coastal path.
