Montserrate

Bogota is surrounded by mountain ranges. We caught a cable car up to the church on top of the hill and saw Bogota with a panoramic view. The city's population is 10 million and this view is only 40% of the city. The wind was icy up top so we warmed up with a delicious latte and traditional 'arepa' corn bread. The afternoon was spent in the hostel movie room and then followed by beers in the local square were art students hang out. Our hostel is owned by an Aussie so for dinner we had a homely BBQ!
