deconstructing breakfast...

...at Gerard's Bistro.
E had not your average bacon and eggs, the eggs  cooked for 12 minutes at 63 degrees so the white is 'soft, translucent and jelly like' and the yolk is runny and served covered with snow of smoked bacon mousse.

A demolished black pudding, manchego custard, flamed grapes and smoked almonds and I scooped up Baghdad eggs fried in cumin, garlic, lemon and mint with yoghurt dipped flatbread.

Not a slice of toast and marmalade in sight!!
