Petanca

Sunday morning and Al was up and off to take friends to the Airport, so when he returned we went out for breakfast.   He had full English but I had the traditional Spanish Churros and Chocolate (see extra photos).

There was a Petanca competition going on in the open air sports area, so we strolled over to watch a while.

It is an annual competition held in conjunction with the Virgen del Carmen.   Lots of activities around Almerimar in this week.   All taken very seriously of course.   I could only see one ladies team.
