Tents

I loved these colourful tents on the beach at Gijon. They reminded me of exotic Indian tents.

Today has been pretty hot. We explored an interesting museum of Asturian life, at which there were reconstructed 250-year-old buildings (rather like the wonderful National Museum at St Fagans in Wales).

We also toured a huge clothing market next door to the museum, which drew crowds of locals.

But it has been so warm that we've also been taking it easy for lengthy periods - reading and sipping wine. That's what holidays are all about!
