King Willem II

The horseman statue of King Willem the Second is was originally made in 1853 and is located just outside the Houses of Parliament in The Hague.

After the original was relocated the town of Tilburg it is replaced by this replica in 1924. (according to a bronze plaque on the statue)

Sounds bit irrational or strange to say the least to replace the original by an inmitation, but who am I to judge :-)
