Edinburgh Jazz

The Edinburgh Jazz festival kicked off today with the annual "Mardis Gras" at the Grassmarket, the weather held off and it was quite warm and sunny, although it was pretty breezy. The Grassmarket was packed with people as there were four "stages" with bands playing live music. The bars allow you to take beers outside (in plastic pint "glasses"), it's always a great day out, it's pretty difficult to get good photos as you can barely move but I've picked out a couple extra photos to try and give you an impression.
